Cecelia Scott Lane was an African American graduate student at Iowa State College.

Life and Education

Lane received her M.S. in Home Economics Education in 1937 from Iowa State College.

Legacy

There is a building named after her at Texas Southern University that houses the Department of Human Services and Consumer Sciences program
